Among them were Hon. R. W. Thompson, LL.D., and Gen. John Eaton, United States Commissioner of Education, who were the invited speakers; Prof. John M. Bloss, Superintendent of Public Instruction; Hons. George I. Reed, Murray Briggs, Joseph Gilbert, and Barnabas C. Hobbs, LL.D., of the State Normal School Board; President Lemuel Moss, of the State University; President Emerson E. White, of Purdue University; Mayor Jas. B. Lyne, of Terre Haute; Hon. John E. Lamb, M. C; Monsieur Louis Genis, Ing. Civ., and Eleve of the Royal Polytechnic School of Belgium; John R. Elde...
