No. 195; To incorporate the Mad River and Miami Central Railroad Company. Mr. Byers demanded the yeas and nays thereon, which were ordered and resulted, yeas 21, nays 8, as follows: Those who voted in the affirmative, were Messrs. Backus, Beaver, Blake, Blocksom, Burns, Claypool, Conklin, Corwin, Dennison, Goddard, Graham, Haines, Horton, Kendall, Lewis, Myers, Scott, Vinal, Wilson, Worcester and Speaker--21. Those who voted in the negative, were Messrs. Ankeny, Archbold, Byers, Chase, Dubbs, Evans, Patterson and Swift--8. So the bill was passed. Ordered that the titles be as aforesaid. The following bill was read a third time: S. No. 127; To provide for the construction of culverts and gates in mill dams in the township of Sylvania in the county of Lucas. The question being, Shall the bill pass? Mr. Goddard demanded the yeas and nays thereon, which were ordered, and resulted yeas 12, nays 15, as follows: Those who voted in the affirmative, were Messrs. Ankeny, Blocksom, Burns, Byers, Corwin, Graham, Myers, Patterson, Scott, Wilson, Worcester and Speaker--12. Those who voted in the negative, were Messrs. Archbold, Beaver, Blake, Claypool, ConkKn, Dennison, Dubbs, Evans, Goddard, Haines, Horton, Kendall, Lewis, Swift and Vinal--15. So the Senate refused to pass the bill.. S. No. 185; To amend and reduce into one, the several acts relating to the Cincinnati, Hamilton and Dayton Railroad company. The question being on agreeing to the title, On motion of Mr. Dubb...
