"Wot you've got to do is," he went on, taking it for granted, from the expression on my face, that I had given way, "yer're to take care of them things and not to touch 'em, or to let a soul know as you've got 'em, but just to wait till we asks for them. Yer won't find it any trouble, and yer needn't tell us if yer want to move about, pervided, as I said before, yer doesn't leave the country; we knows yer main address, and as there's five of us, one or the other will generally manage to have a eye upon yer, though likely yer won't be able to tell where it is.
