As an exposition it is one of the least. 743 WHISH (J. C, M. A.) A Paraphrase of the Book of Isaiah, with Notes. 12mo. 3s. 6d. Lond., Seeley & Co. 1862. S. 1s. 3d. Somewhat helpful. The paraphrasing is not prolix, and it does, as a rule, aid the reader in getting at the literal sense. With the spiritual teaching Mr. Whish has not intermeddled. 744 WHITE (samuel, M. A.
