S An Act Authorizing And Empowering The Levy Court Of Kent County, State Of Delaware, To Appoint A Constable For West Dover Hundred, Kent County, And State Of Delaware, To Reside At Hartly. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met: Section 1. That the Levy Court be and is hereby authorized Appointment. and empowered to appoint a Constable for West Dover Hundred, Kent County and State of Delaware to reside at Hartly. Section 2. The office of Constable for West Dover Hundred omee created. is hereby created, and said Constable shall reside at and in the Residence, town of Hartly, in said hundred. Approved March 33, A. I). 1899. J CHAPTER 206. Of Recorder Of Deeds. An Act To Authorize The Recorder Of Deeds In And For New Castle County To Make Certain Indices. Whereas, Courtland C. Montgomery, the late Recorder in and for New Castle County, in pursuance of an Act of the General Assembly, did make, or cause to be made, certain direct and indirect indices to the records of deeds in the Recorder's office of said County, from A. D. eighteen hundred and seventy-four to January first, A. D. eighteen hundred and ninety-seven, using what is known as the Campbell system. And Whereas, it is desirous that this system of indexing which now covers a period from A. D. sixteen hundred and forty to December thirty-first, A. D. eighteen hundred and ninety OF BEOOEDEE OF DEEDS. six, inclusive shall be continued and used in connection with the current business of the said office, and that the deeds recorded from day to day shall be so indexed at once, And Wher...
