Excerpt: ... Turner--Masters Joseph A. Turner, Eta and Lambda, and Miss Mary Van Fossen Masters were married at Pulaski, Va., on February 16th. Brother Turner is a prominent member of the faculty of Hollins Institute, Va., the celebrated school for girls, which was established by his grandfather, the late diaries L. Cocke. Canada--Berry On December 31, 1903, at Franklin, Tenn., John W. Canada, of the Memphis bar and colonel in the Tennessee National Guard, was married to Miss Emma Berry, of Franklin. Brother Canada was a charter member of Alpha Mu Chapter. Another alumnus of that chapter, Dr. Lucius McGehee, of Memphis, was an attendant. Riviere--Branham. Having decided to share the future together, Miss Lucy Turner Branham and Brother Hal Kichey Riviere recently took the hymeneal vows at "Overlook/' the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Ivcrson Branham, in Kirkwood, Ga. It was truly a Kappa Alpha wedding, Brothers Arthur Akin Jones, Carlton Candler MeCamy, and Frank Lawson Fenn being participants. Brother Riviere is an alumnus of Alpha Sigma. Morgan--Gresham. Marshall Morgan, Chi '97, and Miss Annie L. Gresham, of Columbus, Miss., were quietly married in Xashville, Tenn., December 26th. Miss Gresham is of a well known Mississippi family, and the groom, a law graduate of Vanderbilt and a prominent young newspaper man on the staff of the Nashville Banner, is a member of the well-known Morgan family of Tennessee and Alabama, being a grand-nephew of Senator Morgan, of Alabama. They will reside in Nashville. George L. Young George L. Young was born at Wetumka, Ala,, July 29, 1861, and died at East Lake, Jefferson county, Ala., February 1, 1904.
