The labour on timber is classified as "fixed only," "framed," or " framed and fixed." Timber fixed includes the labour in nailing, spiking, halving, dovetailing, or notching. Timber framed includes mortising and tenoning. BOND TIMBER AND PLATES. Take bond timbers, wall plates, pole plates, templates, and lintels under this head at per foot cube, and add for laps, dovetails, and scarfings, in the measurement.
