The Rhind Mathematical Papyrus is a book that provides a detailed translation and commentary on two ancient Egyptian mathematical texts, British Museum 10057 and 10058. The book is written by Arnold Buffum Chace and includes a comprehensive bibliography of Egyptian mathematics. The texts in the papyrus are believed to have been written around 1650 BCE and contain a variety of mathematical problems and solutions, including calculations for area, volume, and fractions.
