It is a wicked cowardice, and it is pervasive. But there too is a cowardice involved in pining. Bold in affection but timid in action, the lovelorn die a coward's death a thousand times. The question is, then, that once reborn, do we take what we've learned in one life and use it in the next or does fate work against us simply because we dare to believe that, this time, it isn't going to happen?
