Excerpt from Games and Rhymes for Language Teaching in the First Four Grades
Don't forget that children like familiar things best. Repeat the games many times. The more repetition the stronger the impression of the correct form.
Don't introduce an incorrect form. If it already exists, use the game to counteract it, but emit all games that are not needed in your school. They were written for that other school which does need them.
Don't mind the little extra work involved in pre paring for the game. The results will more than repay you.
