A commentary, for this reason, would have added materially to the utility of the lectures.

Paperback. Zustand: New. Print on Demand. This book, as the first in a series of lectures on General Ethics, elucidates the nature of the human act and its moral components. It delves into the philosophical underpinnings of morality, distinguishing itself from Ethical Empiricism, which grounds moral principles in human customs, and contrasting with Rationalistic theories. By establishing the basis of moral standards and the substantive conditions of 'human acts', the author provides a framework for understanding the sources of morality, the nature of ethical decision-making, and the relationship between actions and moral culpability, thus illuminating the complexity of defining good and evil in human conduct. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 9781330355374_0
