When the problems set in the Logic Exercises are dealt with adequately in these books, the solutions consist simply of the appropriate references. In other cases hints are given sufficient to provide material for an adequate answer.
The initials W. M. Are used to indicate the Inter mediate text-book; W. To refer to the Manual, Vol. I.; and W. II. To the Manual, Vol. II. The references throughout are to pages, unless otherwise indicated.
