Excerpt from The Trigonometry of One Angle
There must therefore be many students, who have little leisure for the study of pure Mathematics, who would find it worth their while to acquire a knowledge of the Trigonometry of one angle.
Moreover the University of Cambridge requires in the Mechanics section of the Previous Examination and in the General Examination a knowledge of the Trigonometry of one angle.
I have therefore condensed and arranged the follow ing pages from my Elementary Trigonometry in the hope of providing a text book suitable for the large class of students above referred to.
