Some may think, perhaps, that this question is unimportant. They will say, Oh, let the youngsters choose as it happens. Their time is worth nothing and any language taught in the schools is worth studying. The study of it will certainly do no harm even if the knowledge gamed is never afterwards turned to account. So let the boy or girl follow his whim, experiment, and find out by the process of trial and error where his aptitudes lie.
