Paperback. Zustand: New. Print on Demand. This book focuses on the history of the Roman Catholic Church's intolerance of other religions, particularly Protestantism. The author seeks to demonstrate that intolerance is inherent in the very structure of the Catholic system, arguing that the church sees itself as the sole arbiter of truth and uses its power to suppress dissent. The book traces the development of this intolerance from the early centuries of Christianity to the present day, showing how it has manifested itself in persecutions, inquisitions, and other forms of violence. Ultimately, the author argues that the Catholic Church's intolerance is a betrayal of its own professed values and a threat to religious freedom everywhere.
