The conjugation of avoir, être, and the four regular conjugations;
Most of the connecting words of constant occurrence;
The translation of about seventy pages of French into English; A limited amount of translation of English into French;
and they have been trained -
To pronounce fluently;
To think directly in French;
To remember French sentences;
and To understand spoken French.
