Excerpt from The Prodigal Reclaimed: Or the Sinner's Ruin and Recovery
Passing up the East River from the city of New York, just before the traveller enters Long Island Sound, he may be tempted to inquire the name of the owner of a fine house and spacious grounds, that attract the eye, and by their elegance and neatness appear to be in the hands of a man of wealth and taste. His name is not known to me, but the spot, now the abode of strangers, is full of deep and painful interest as the early home of one whose story I am about to tell.

Paperback. Zustand: New. Print on Demand. This book retells the well-known biblical Parable of the Prodigal Son as a platform to discuss the universal human experience of sin, repentance, and redemption, and its personal and spiritual implications. The author traces the journey of the prodigal from his departure into sin, through his degradation and suffering, to his eventual return and reconciliation with his father. The book explores the themes of rebellion, forgiveness, and the enduring power of love and grace. The author argues that the parable offers profound insights into the nature of God, the human condition, and the path to salvation. Through the parable's familiar story, this book invites readers to reflect on their own spiritual journeys and to embrace the hope of redemption and reconciliation with God.
