Legislative assembly, Monday, 19th March, 1860. Resolved, - That the Petition of the Rev. Joseph Stimson, D.D., President, and the Rev. Ephraim B. Harper, Secretary, on behalf of the Conference of the Wesleyan Methodist Church of Canada, (in relation to the University of Toronto), be referred to a Select Committee, composed of hon. MI1. Cameron, hon. M11. Atty. Gen]. Macdonald, hon. MI1. Brown, hon M11. Cayley, hon. MI1. Foley, MI1. Wilson, M11. Roblin, MI1. Simpson, MI1. Mccann, to examine the contents thereof, and to report thereon from time to time, with power to send for persons, papers, and records.
