Excerpt from Parsons' Text Book
In presenting the second and revised edition of Parsons' Text-Book, I do so as the servant of the church. It is the property of the church. I trust that after months of careful work in recompiling, all errors found in the former have been worked out and that no new ones have crept in. It may seem a small task to one that never had any experience, but I have found that the best of our writers are not so careful as they should be in quoting. I have sought to give the exact statement of the author and I have been greatly assisted by the following brethren: Arthur Allen, F. M. Slover, C. J. Hunt, Ammon White, B. J. Scott, L. G.
