Tythes then, (according to legal acceptation) are defined to be - The tenth part of the in crease arising From the profit of lands - The stock upon lands - And the personal industry of the occupant - so that the circumstance of yielding a yearly increase designates what shall be legally subject to the payment of Tythe.
