Beginning with a look at the arguments of those who accused the Quakers of denying the divinity of Christ, the book uses primary sources from early Quaker writers to refute these claims. The author presents a comprehensive overview of Quaker beliefs, delving into the significance of scriptures, the role of Christ, and the direct experience of the divine. The book challenges the perception of the Quakers as a marginal group, highlighting their valuable contributions to Christian thought and scriptural interpretation.
