In the work now before you, I have endeavored to remedy this defect. To the rules on general composition, I have carefully affixed the necessary examples for practice; that the pupil by the exercise of his own judgement, may apply the rule to the example of false Rhetoric, and by means of which, construe the sentence so that it may appear in the style of graceful composition.
