Many letters are annually received by me, asking a variety of questions with regard to poultry management. I trust the advice here given may tend to remove some of those difficulties with which such correspondents would seem to be at times perplexed.
Certain fallacious ideas exist in the public mind as to the possibilities of poultry farming. I have not hesitated to strike a note of warning by pointing out the risks which attend the keeping of large numbers of fowls in conhue ment in a limited area, such as the term poultry farming usually implies.
