Excerpt from Kitchen Boiler Connections: A Selection of Practical Letters Articles Relating to Water Backs
The first edition of this book was printed in 1894, and since that time there has been a steady and increasing demand for it. In the meanwhile a great deal of information bearing on the topics treated in the book has appeared in the columns of the metal worker, and with a View to making the volume of still greater value, we have in the present edition added largely to the different chapters, and have inserted an entire new one on lime choked wate'r backs. The book contains so much new matter that we feel justified in recommending it even to those who possess a copy of the former edition.
