La noticia de los códices de obras poéticas del Dr. Juan de Salinas, que hemos alcanzado a ver, irá por Apéndice al final del tomo II. De esta edicion. Ahora solamente diremos, que todas las poesías contenidas en este primer volúmen van esactamente copiadas y con el mismo órden que guardan en el códice prepara do paraºla imprenta en 1646, con la aprobacion y lí cencia autógrafas, aquella del Licdo. Rodrigo Caro, y esta del Dr. Ribera, que poseey nos ha facilitado con su proverbial jenerosidad el Sr. D. Pascual de Gayangos.
Las dos terceras partes de aquel precioso códice van comprendidas en este primer volúmen; el resto irá en el siguiente, con várias obras poéticas, que se en cuentran en otros manuscritos de los que hemos re jistrado y no están en este.
