In the year 1854, I delivered a special course of Lectures on Orthopaedic Surgery at the Grosvenor Place School of Medicine; and it was my custom annually to give a few lectures on Orthopaedic subjects, in the course of Surgical Lectures which I delivered, first in conjunction with the late Mr. George Pilcher, and subsequently with Mr. Spencer Wells.
