Il a en de nombreux et d'excellents amis, et il les a conservés. Sa jeu nesse fut austère; marié - 'par devoir plutôt que par amour, il avait le culte de la famille, et il entretint dans lai - sienne des sentiments d'hon neur, de noblesse et d'élévation morale.
