Paperback. Zustand: New. Print on Demand. This book is the author's commencement address to the graduating seniors of a Southern university, and it is filled with highly idealistic and motivational suggestions for their future. The author first tries to bring the wide scope of the graduates' opportunities into sharp focus. He notes that they will have far greater opportunities than the graduates of the past due to the rapid expansion of opportunity, and he acknowledges the opportunities that lie ahead in science and the professions for these young men. He then turns his attention to the available opportunities for political leadership, urging these graduates to be active in serving their communities and states. The author notes that their impact on the future will be determined primarily by their personal character, and he offers numerous Bible-based principles as guides for their conduct. The author concludes by calling on these graduates to be examples to their communities, and to look passed their individual self-interest toward the good of the state and nation.
