Excerpt from Bench and Bar of Colorado
In the printed arguments which are addressed to the appellate courts, the case is but little better, since they are buried in the files of the court, read only by the counsel on the other side, and the court, and bv it often not understand ingly, and without sufficient attention to the facts to follow the argument, much less to give it the credit and weight which it deserves. So, while the judgment of the court on what the law is, is recorded, the argument of the lawver as to what it should be, is recalled only to be forgotten.
