Excerpt from Exeter in 1830: Notes and Occasional Papers of William Gilman Perry, MD

Blessed with a memory of remarkable tenacity and accuracy, he was at the time of his death the only resident of the town to whom most of the facts here recalled were known. This little book may also serve as a me morial of the gentle, modest life of a citizen of Exeter who spent.
