Excerpt from Principles of the Law of Real Property: Intended as a First Book for the Use of Students in Conveyancing
New matter of my own, by inclosing the latter within brackets; but I do not think that this plan is advisable in a book intended for students. The principal additions are those dealing with the changes in the law made by the Conveyancing and Law of Property Act, 1881. In particular, the last Chapter (part VI.) is entirely my own. I can only hope that the value of my late father's \vork has not been impaired by my treatment.

Paperback. Zustand: New. Print on Demand. This book is an examination of property in the eyes of the law. The author divides property into two categories: movable and immovable. Movable property can be carried around and easily destroyed, while immovable property (such as land) has a relatively permanent existence and cannot be stolen in the traditional sense. This division of property has been a part of the English legal system since the Norman Conquest, when the feudal system was introduced and land became a status symbol of great importance. Through the exploration of this division, the book provides valuable insights into the ways the English legal system developed over time.
