To any who may have the three parts of this book as issued successively as First Sheets, Further Sheets, and Third Series of Scriptural Proofs, I shall be glad to send copies of the above Index and Title-page to bind up with them.

I am trying to prepare full Tables of Con tents, including especially references to all the passages of Scripture dealt with in the book, and am putting into shape much that I wish to say in the way of preface to it: but there are reasons for which I do not like to delay the publication of the Proofs themselves the very considerable time still needed to complete satisfactorily these additions to them. If they should be completed hereafter they can go out as a. Small supplementary volume; of which 10 shall be happy to supply copies to all who may have procured copies of this one.
