The nomenclature relating to cavities and cavity preparation, instruments and instrumentation, will be fully presented.

Paperback. Zustand: New. Print on Demand. This book details the intricate methods used in dentistry to fill cavities and treat dental conditions. The author begins by establishing the history of dentistry, then meticulously delves into dental anatomy, taking a holistic approach to oral health by covering both the hard and soft tissues of the teeth and their surrounding structures. Surgical procedures, like tooth extraction, and cosmetic work, such as the preparation of natural teeth or roots for crowns and bridges, are intentionally omitted, as those topics are covered in depth elsewhere. This book is strictly confined to the repair of damage inflicted by tooth decay, the prevention of further decay, and the treatment of diseases resulting from exposure or death of the pulps of the teeth.
