P. S. I cannot find, from Strype's Life of Whitgift, who thefe remarkers were; Strype Contradiéts this writer of the Lambeth Articles; and reprefents Whitgift, more than that writer does, as favouring Whitaker and Calvinifm. Yet I thought he did not quite prove what he undertook. Whitgift feeme'd to me, even from Strype's account, to be guided much by prudence, and to dillike Whitaker's zeal.
