Paperback. Zustand: New. Print on Demand. This book investigates and presents a complete catalog of Victorian estuarine univalve mollusca. Its aim is to identify and detail the characteristics of these creatures that, although found on the sea shore, are not actually inhabitants of the sea but instead reside among mangroves, on muddy flats, or under stones where they're subject to the action of wind and waves. The book provides extensive detail on each species and gives a comprehensive overview of this group of mollusks. A valuable contribution to the field, the insights gleaned from this book will prove useful for scientists, researchers, and casual readers interested in learning more about the nuances of these fascinating creatures.
