Paperback. Zustand: New. Print on Demand. In this book, the author provides a comprehensive exploration of free will, examining its philosophical and religious aspects. The author draws heavily upon the teachings of Saint Thomas Aquinas, presenting a detailed analysis of his theory of free will. Aquinas believed that the will is a faculty of the soul that is able to choose between different courses of action, and he argued that this freedom is essential for human beings to be held morally responsible for their actions. The author explores the implications of Aquinas's theory for our understanding of human nature, ethics, and the relationship between God and humanity, ultimately concluding that the freedom of the will is a gift that allows us to participate in the divine plan.
