Pilgrim has, with the permission of Mr. J. H. Batten, re quested the publishers to add to the little work, that gentle man's very interesting description of Almora, which origi nally appeared in the Hills newspaper, and he has taken the opportunity of annexing an occasional note from the work of Mr. Traill, already referred to, as well as from one or two other sources, which are duly acknowledged. At the end will be found a memorandum of the present state of Nsinec Tal.
