Much of our systematic grammar consists of matter practically of little importance because it has no bearing on correctness of speaking or writing. It is by passing over such matter that room is found for the great variety of Exercises here presented in connection with points on which there is special liability to error. Besides unusually full and thorough practice in the correction of false syntax, and in composition from the very commence. Ment, punctuation, sentential analysis (according to a.
