Excerpt from The Constitution of the State of New York: With Notes, References and Annotations
This work has been prepared to meet the requirements caused by the adoption of the revised Constitution, at the general elec tion held November 6, 1894, as proposed by the Constitutional Convention, September 29, 1894, at Albany, N. Y.
Many important changes have been made in the fundamental law by this revision. We have endeavored to point out these changes in a brief note at the end of each section, and have referred to the similar provisions of the amended Constitution of 1846, which have been abrogated, superseded or re-enacted by such section.
We have annotated the sections by references to the leading New York cases which remain applicable.
