In most of the different publications relative to Neat Cattle and Sheep, which the author has had an opportu nity of inspecting, those parts, which are appropriated to medical treatment, have very far exceeded the requisite bounds in the quantity of the doses pre scribed; and thus, in all probability, the strength of many valuable beasts has been materially weakened, even although their lives should not have been shortened.
