Excerpt from The Radio Direction Finder and Its Application to Navigation
International recognition Of the future 'importance Of radio fog signaling has been recorded in the report Of the Interallied Radio Commission which met in Paris in 1919 and later in the report of the Universal Electrical Communications Union which met in Washington In 1920.
The following recommendations concerning the operation Of radio fog-signaling or radio-beacon stations, based upon practical experience obtained during actual tests, were submitted to the Communications Union by the Bureau Of Standards for inter national consideration.
