Paperback. Zustand: New. Print on Demand. This book examines the role of evil spirits in the life and teachings of Jesus. It discusses the prevailing beliefs of Jesus's time and society in regard to evil spirits, as well as the different ways in which scholars have interpreted Jesus's own beliefs and teachings on the subject. The author argues that Jesus did not believe in the existence of evil spirits, but that he spoke of them in order to accommodate his teachings to the beliefs of his audience. The book also explores the implications of this argument for our understanding of Jesus's message and its relevance to our own lives. Through a thorough examination of the relevant texts, the author provides a fresh perspective on a topic that has been debated for centuries.
