This book presents a critical examination of a recent judgment by the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council on the legality of certain practices in the Church of England. The author, a renowned theologian, argues that the judgment is both legally and theologically flawed and that it threatens the Church's ability to maintain its unique identity. The book provides a thorough overview of the legal and historical context of the judgment, engaging with the broader themes of religious freedom, the role of tradition in the church, and the nature of the priestly office. Ultimately, the bookâs insights serve as a powerful defense of the Church of England's traditions and its right to self-determination.
