Paperback. Zustand: New. Print on Demand. This book is a compilation of significant political writings from the Renaissance era, including works by Niccolà Machiavelli and Martin Luther. Machiavelli's The Prince is a renowned treatise on statecraft, offering a realistic and often ruthless examination of how to acquire and maintain political power. Luther's Ninety-Five Theses sparked the Protestant Reformation, challenging the authority of the Catholic Church and promoting the concept of salvation through faith alone. These texts provide valuable insights into the transition from the Middle Ages to the modern era, shedding light on the political and religious upheavals that shaped the Western world.
