Die linie-romantik-schopenhauer-nietzsche ist in der heu tigen philosophischen Literatur mit umfassender Ausgestaltung behandelt worden 1. Dass sich dieselbe Linie von der Romantik zu Guyan hinziehen liesse, werden wir bei der näheren Betrachtung der allgemeinen, philosophischen Grundlage seines Systems sehen. Diese generische Verwandtschaft von Guyan und Nietzsche kommt hier für uns umsomehr in Betracht. Als sich aus ihr eine weitere markante Uebereinstimmung der Denker unter vielen Gesichtspunkten ergibt, welche Harald Höfl'ding einmal kurz in folgenden Worten zusammenfasst.
