Diener im Sinne fuhre, und diesen zu ernsthaften Kunstricbtern halt er sich fiir verbunden, öffentlich zu sagen, dafs kei* ner von ihnen vielleicht selbst mehr Ehrer bietung gegen die Religion und Hochach tung gegen vernnnftige Geistliche haben könne als er; wie würden sie sich war dern wenn der Verfasser hier die ehrwun digen Namen einiger grofsen Geistlichen hersetzen wollte, die dieses Gedicht bei allen seinen ersten Fehlern mit Vergnügen gelesen und kein Geheimnil's daraus ge macht haben. Da sich aber der Verfasser auf einen witzigen Einfall, dem ein zu strenger Eifer vielleicht ein verdachtiges Gepräge geben könnte, nicht so viel zu Gute thut, um ihn nicht ohne Barmher zigkeit anstustreichen, so hat er, auf den Rath eines unsrer trefflichsten Dichter.
