The principal phenomena of production have been investigated in my first book wherein I have shown, how human industry, with the aid of capi tal and of natural agents and properties; creates every kind of utility, which is the primary source of value and in what way social institutions and public authority operate to the benefit or the pre judice of production. This second book will be devoted to the consideration of the distribution of wealth to which end it will be necessary, first, to analyse the nature of value, the object of dis tribution; secondly, to ascertain the laws, which regulate the distribution of value, when once created, amongst the various members of society, so as to constitute individual revenue.
