Excerpt from Why Are Not All Physicians Homoeopathists?
Let our young friend step out from the little professional ring or close corporation, known as the Allopathic school, and look at Homoeopathy from the stand-point of the great reading, thinking and progressive public of the United States, and he will be amazed at the difference in the result. Homoeopathy has now stood upon its merits for nearly three quarters of a century. It has passed the severest ordeals of criticism, survived all its persecution, and marches onward from Victory to Victory. Despised and rejected as a thera pontic reform within the bounds of the old school, which was all it ever pretended or wished to be, it has been obliged to erect itself into an independent system. The great read ing, thinking and progressive public does not share the epin ions, the prejudices, the infatuations of Allopathic physi eiaus with respect to Homoeopathy. It sees no humbug, or quackery, or imposture in it, and, when appealed to, is always determined to give us fair play, a full hearing and equal rights before the law.
Witness the vast strides which Homoeopathy has made in the teeth of all opposition its five thousand practitioners, most of them graduates of the old school, its growing liter ature, its schools, hospitals, dispensaries and asylums, and its lay-adherents numbered by the million.

Paperback. Zustand: New. Print on Demand. This book explores the ongoing historical debate between allopathic and homeopathic medicine. It begins by presenting contrasting case studies of two young doctors, one of whom is curious and open-minded towards homeopathy while the other is not. The author, a homeopathic physician and scholar, offers a detailed critique of allopathy, arguing that it is based on outmoded scientific principles and that its practitioners are often hostile to new ideas, which hinders progress. He provides an overview of the history of homeopathy, discussing its origins and development, and provides ample evidence of its effectiveness in treating various diseases. In exploring the reasons why more doctors donât adopt homeopathy, the author cites factors such as intellectual inertia, fear, and professional self-interest. The book concludes by emphasizing the importance of open and honest scientific inquiry, arguing that only through the free exchange of ideas can the medical field truly advance and improve patient outcomes.
