Two of the cases were studied postmortem. In one of these, the examination was limited to an investigation of the thoracic and abdom inal organs, in the other it was complete. In addition, I have had the opportunity of studying pathologic material from other cases.

The author studied seven cases of the disease during a three year period, and the cases were confirmed by unanimous consent at representative meetings of dermatological societies. The author reviewed previous literature on the disease, summarizing the wide range of medical opinions on it and the various approaches to its treatment. The author then presented a detailed summary of the clinical and pathological observations in each of the seven cases studied, summarizing the histopathological features, blood findings and results of skin biopsies and other tests. The author concluded that the pathology of mycosis fungoides is not sufficiently well known and that the disease manifests in different ways during different stages of progression.
