Paperback. Zustand: New. Print on Demand. This book reviews the report by the State School Code Commission created by the Kansas State Legislature in 1921. The author uses this report as a springboard to discuss the contemporary state of education in Kansas. The author uses the report to advocate for larger school districts meant to improve the quality of education and for a state board of education to handle the administration of education on a broader scale. The author's stance is that such changes are needed to address funding inequity, because the state's current system is unsustainable, and to promote greater equality. The insights included in this book are a thorough analysis of the contemporary educational system of Kansas and a guideline for how to combat its shortcomings.
